Project Overview

Enosix is an SAP integration platform that delivers real-time connectivity between SAP systems and modern front-end tools like Salesforce. As the company grew, it needed a more responsive and reliable integration between Salesforce and SAP to better serve its users and customers. Enosix partnered with Smart Data to modernize its internal Salesforce platform and unlock real-time access to SAP data, including pricing, inventory, and sales documents. The project focused on improving quoting accuracy, reducing manual errors, and enhancing the efficiency of sales reps across the organization.

Project Challenge

Before working with Smart Data, enosix faced several technical and workflow challenges:

  • Sales reps could not access live SAP pricing or inventory from within Salesforce

  • Manual steps and workarounds caused delays and quoting errors

  • Separate systems led to inconsistent data and limited automation

  • Product configurations and quoting lacked control and visibility

  • Integration limitations blocked scalability and reporting accuracy

These issues affected both internal productivity and the customer experience, and required a solution that could connect Salesforce to SAP in a seamless, scalable way.

Project Approach

Smart Data developed and deployed a custom integration strategy using enosix’s existing SAP connector architecture. The solution included:

  • SAP detail views and customer data panels inside Salesforce

  • Embedded pricing and configuration tools with real-time simulation

  • Live document sync between SAP and Salesforce, including quotes, orders, invoices, and delivery information

  • Custom Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Aura components for UI and automation

  • Seamless product sync using enosix Transact Apps for customer and material data

  • Support for complex CPQ use cases, including variant configuration and external SAP simulation tools

Smart Data worked closely with both enosix’s internal teams and platform tools to ensure minimal disruption while unlocking powerful new capabilities.
