With a focus on real-time data integrations and data virtualization, Enosix combines speed and reliability to provide a seamless integration between SAP and various front-end systems. Enosix faced several challenges prior to partnering with Smartdata. The problems identified were as follows:
- Lack of real-time access to customer-specific pricing: The existing system did not provide representatives with real-time access to pricing information from the back-end ERP system. This led to manual processes and multiple opportunities for errors during the quoting or order submission process.
- 2. Difficulty in accessing accurate pricing and inventory data: Salespeople struggled to obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing and inventory information during the quoting process. This resulted in increased time spent on verifying data, leading to delays in providing quotes to customers.
- 3. Lack of control over product configurations and quoting information: Enosix faced challenges in maintaining control over the information used by the sales team to generate quotes. This resulted in out-of-date product configurations for customers and a lack of analytics reporting to assess quoting performance.
- 4. Data inconsistency and manual tasks due to separate systems: Enosix operated with separate systems for Salesforce (CRM) and SAP (ERP), leading to data inconsistency, redundant manual tasks, and limited possibilities for automation. This created inefficiencies and increased the risk of errors.
Smart Data provided a tailored solution for Enosix by customizing and integrating additional features using Enosix SAP integration with Salesforce. This included pre-built components such as SAP customer detail, SAP customer link, SAP customer company, SAP customer sales areas and SAP customer partner document search functions. Further components such as order submission functions, invoice creation processes, delivery search functions and opportunity pricing were also integrated. An external configurator and pricing simulation was also included to provide customers with the most accurate product configurations.
